Pilot - John Breckenridge |
John was new to the racing sport in 2004 but not new to Harleys. He has collected them since his teen years. He is a Union Ironworker by trade for the last 20+ years and owns his own business constructing communication towers as tall as 2000' all over the country. He bought his first ProDrag Nitro Harley in February, took a couple short practice spins and headed to the track to get licensed on March 13, 2004. He debuted as the Pilot for the new WFO Racing Team on March 27, 2004 in the ProDrag category. Since then, John has made over 75 runs. In all he has a first place finish in Woodburn, Oregon, Ashcroft BC, Edmonton Alberta & Mission BC., 3 runner up finishes and 7 trips to the finals.
John finished as the CMDRA Canadian National ProDrag Champion and Rookie of the year in Canada. In the United States John finished the year 3rd in the West and 4th overall in the Nation. He was also honored with Rookie of the Year in the U.S. as well.
John is supported by his family in his racing endeavor. His wife Katie and daughters Angel and Brandi are often helping in the pits and towing him back after each race. It is truly a family sport. | |
